Ogami Press es una editora de arte especializada en obra gráfica contemporánea de artistas de talento emergentes que exploran las tendencias y técnicas más actuales, asegurándose de que el trabajo sea de la más alta calidad y usando tanto las técnicas tradicionales como las propuestas más innovadoras de arte gráfico, con el objetivo de expandir la creación, el conocimiento y la colección del arte múltiple. También trabaja con artistas relevantes y de trayectoria reconocida en el panorama artístico español aportando una visión novedosa a la realización de obras originales.
El diseño y la producción de los proyectos de edición se hacen en colaboración con los artistas. Trabajando con cada uno se desarrolla un vocabulario en torno al arte múltiple que da como resultado una nueva visión de la obra gráfica. Centrándose en proyectos amplios el artista es capaz de jugar con diferentes ideas, construcciones y técnicas, permitiendo libertad para experimentar, y adoptar su propio carácter y sus parámetros artísticos.
Ogami Press is committed to fresh visual creators with
a promising career and thorough education in Fine Arts, who have had
international exposure, whose productions are content-based and who show an
intelectual reflection in their works. The artists are involved throughout the
entire process, from the adaptation to the different expressive forms, the
ellaboration, the design and the final presentation. We wish to contribute to
the prestige and status print works should have in the art world. We try to
keep away from the traditional concept of art and art gallery as something
elitist, exclusive and inaccesible and aim to
produce works of the best quality at more accesible prices.
Ogami Press is a young print publisher of contemporary art editions by
emerging talented artists. It was created in 2009 to provide a favourable place
for the creation and development of ideas and proposals of artists using the
different printmaking techniques that result in unique prints, portfolio
collections or artist books. We are also the print studio where the projects
are conceived and produced.
